Stability of multi - core MgB 2 / Ti / Cu / SS wires
Stability of 19-filaments MgB2/Ti/Cu/SS wires carrying the transport currents has been examined. Properties of two identical wires annealed at 600 o C/2.5 h and 800 o C/0.5 h were compared. It was found that annealing conditions influence not only the current carrying capacity of MgB2 filaments but also affect the inter-diffusion at Ti/Cu and Cu/SS interfaces, which is worsening the electrical ...
متن کاملMulti-stability and polariton solitons in microcavity wires.
Nonlinear polaritons in microcavity wires are demonstrated to exhibit multi-stable behavior and rich dynamics, including filamentation and soliton formation. We find that the multi-stability originates from co-existence of different transverse cavity modes. Modulational stability and conditions for multi-mode polariton solitons are studied. Soliton propagation in tilted, relative to the pump mo...
متن کاملMulti fluidity and Solitary wave stability in cold quark matter: core of dense astrophysical objects
Considering the magneto-hydrodynamic equations in a non-relativistic multi uid framework, we study the behavior of small amplitude perturbations in cold quark matter. Magneto-hydrodynamic equations, along with a suitable equation of state for the cold quark matter, are expanded using the reductive perturbation method. It is shown that in small amplitude approximation, such a medium should be co...
متن کاملHand Gestures Classification with Multi-Core DTW
Classifications of several gesture types are very helpful in several applications. This paper tries to address fast classifications of hand gestures using DTW over multi-core simple processors. We presented a methodology to distribute templates over multi-cores and then allow parallel execution of the classification. The results were presented to voting algorithm in which the majority vote was ...
متن کاملStability of Charged Exciton States in Quantum Wires
We show that the order of energies of negative (X ) and positive (Xþ) trions in quantum wires is determined by the relative electron and hole lateral confinements. For equal electron and hole confinement, Xþ has a larger binding energy, but a small imbalance towards a stronger hole localization changes the order of the X and Xþ recombination lines in the photoluminescence spectrum.
